I’ve never felt this free. Sort of.

Well, things have been great lately.

Things have been so great lately.

My career is going well. I have revived the Filipino Remote Copywriters group, and more people have been coming in. And that makes me glad! My full-time work and freelance work are also smooth-sailing. All in all, I have no major problems or feelings of unfulfillment in this department.

With that said, that feeling of uneasiness that I felt in March has crept in once again. Well, not entirely. But I’m mildly disappointed and alarmed.

A new curfew has been promulgated earlier by our city government. I have no qualms with the logic behind this curfew, but I’m doubtful if it’s the right solution. I feel that way because I’m thinking about the consequences of this curfew to micro and small business owners who primarily depend on foot traffic for profit. I just feel sorry for them.

But I have been also thinking that there will never be a right solution with zero consequences. The only right solution is the one that serves the greater good.

Anyhow, for now, the best thing I can do is spend time and put effort into the things I can control.
